Mackey’s Barn

Mackey's barn - large painting 2 - Copy

Mackey’s Barn – oil 12″x16″
This is a barn I saw a couple of months ago but there was no place to pull over so I could paint it. Last week I decided to drive down the drive and ask the owners if I could paint a picture of the barn. There were a few signs that read, “You’re in Range” and “No Trespassing” so I was a little concerned I might get shot but I took my chances. It turned out the owners were as nice as could be and even gave me a tour of the inside.

This beauty was built around the turn of the 20th Century and still stands proud and strong.
